About Us

Banner Heart Hospital, part of nonprofit Banner Health, is a nationally recognized specialty hospital. Among the awards and recognition the hospital has received are Becker's Hospital Review 100 Hospitals and Health Systems with Great Heart Programs, 2014-2015, and one of Truven Health Analytics 50 Top Cardiovascular Hospitals, 2015. This specialty heart hospital, adjacent to Banner Baywood Medical Center, expanded from 60 beds to 111 in early 2004. Nearly doubling in size, Banner Heart is now one of the largest freestanding heart hospitals in the nation.
