DESCRIPTION:The Chandler Chamber of Commerce will present the Chandler City Council Candidate Forum on Tuesday\, May 19th\, 2020. The forum will be broadcast locally on Cox Channel 11\, CenturyLink Channel 8502 and on Orbital Cable in Sun Lakes at 5 pm.\n\n\n\nThe Candidate Forum will be moderated by Judge Jay Tibshraeny\, San Marcos District of the Maricopa County Justice Court.  Prior to serving as Judge\, he served an unprecedented 7 terms as Chandler's Mayor. He also served eight years in the Arizona State Senate from 2003-2011 and as a member of the Chandler City Council from 1986 to 2002 as Councilmember\, Vice Mayor and as Mayor. "Judge Tibshraeny's expertise and background is a perfect fit to moderate potential City Council candidates\," said Terri Kimble\, President/CEO of the Chandler Chamber. \n\n\n\n The candidates will give introductory remarks with a lightning round of questions allowing 'yes' or 'no' answers.   The Chandler community is encouraged to submit questions for the forum by emailing\, terri@chandlerchamber.com.
