DESCRIPTION:Santa Pachita is a Tucson band that has been playing together since 2012.Guitarist\, Miguel Reyes\, and bass player\, Victor Cruz\, started the bandafter working together on other musical projects. They brought in talented musicians that have a variety of different musical backgrounds. Santa Pachita is a 9-piece band that blends a variety of musical styles to create an entertaining night of dancing for everyone. The congas\, flute\, and trumpet add depth to the energetic music that is influenced by ska\, cumbia\,rumba-salsa\, and bands like Manu Chao. Funky Bonz have been around since 1993 touring the Southwest and playing with bands like George Clinton Parliament Funkadelic\, Bootsy Collins\, AWOLNATION\, Fishbone\, Cherry Poppin' Daddies\, and too many more to mention. In their hometown of Tucson they have been awarded 6 TAMMIES (Tucson AreaMusic Awards).
