Join Chandler Museum for a reception to officially open their first national exhibit, The Art of Survival: Enduring the Turmoil of Tule Lake. This exhibit explores the experiences and events at Tule Lake, a Japanese American camp where many prisoners from Arizona’s Gila River Internment Camp were transferred. Get a glimpse into the lives of those who were held at this unique WWII confinement site through haunting images of artifacts taken by fine art photographer Hiroshi Watanabe.
