Frank Lloyd Wright: Architecture of the Interior
Frank Lloyd Wright: Architecture of the Interior, a nationally touring exhibition, is on view at the Chandler Museum. The exhibition explores the interior design of Frank Lloyd Wright’s houses, often considered his greatest architectural accomplishment. Through 20 reproduction drawings, 8 photographs, and a photographic mural, the exhibition illustrates the myriad of ways, both obvious and subtle, in which Wright created the visual character of interior space and the objects within, each an essential detail of the larger whole. The exhibit also features textiles and furniture pieces from the Frank Lloyd Wright Foundation at Taliesin West. A special look at Wright’s interior design projects in Chandler in the 1920s and 1930s is also on view. Frank Lloyd Wright: Architecture of the Interior is organized by International Arts & Artists, Washington, DC, in cooperation with the Frank Lloyd Wright Foundation, Scottsdale, AZ.
