ADDED VALUE - Workshops - 10:30 a.m. Knowledge is Power! The Women In Business workshops are opportunities for you to gain a powerful edge on your competition. They are held at 10:30 am before the luncheon. Technology, marketing, sales, accounting, legal issues are just a few topics to be covered at these workshops. 

Keynote: Emma Zimmerman has managed Hayden Flour Mills since it re-opened in 2010. She started out as HFM’s first miller and now heads marketing, writes and photographs original recipes and continues to grow the business in creative ways. Emma is so dedicated to the flour mill that her bridal bouquet was fashioned entirely from White Sonora wheat stalks!  Emma was recently mentioned in Marie Claire magazine as an influential woman in the food world.

Story Telling for Success: Good storytelling has been at the core Hayden Flour Mills' business model from the very beginning. The incredible story of White Sonora Wheat has captured people's imaginations and been the basis for rebuilding the historic Hayden Flour Mills. Hayden Flour Mills' heritage flours and grains are used by Phoenix's top chefs and their product recently won the Martha Stewart American Made award. Emma Zimmerman will be sharing how she has leveraged story telling to grow Hayden Flour Mills beyond a boutique mill and into a national success.
