Chandler Multicultural Festival
Get ready for the 2026 Chandler Multicultural Festival, a vibrant celebration of our community’s rich heritage and diversity, held each January as part of the Celebration of Unity events. This dynamic festival, now in its 31st year, honors the legacy of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. and the ideals of the civil rights movement, bringing people together to embrace cultures from around the world. Admission is free. Enjoy an unforgettable experience! Immerse yourself in a whirlwind of live music, delicious food and engaging experiences. Highlights include: An International Shopping Market, where you can discover unique treasures and handmade goods from around the globe. The World Bizarre offers a mouthwatering variety of ethnic cuisines sure to satisfy your taste buds. Engaging cultural performances that will transport you to different corners of the world. Interactive kids' activities in the Kid Zone A custom cruiser car show featuring custom vehicles from all over the Valley. Eventgoers can cast their vote for the People’s Choice Award. Opportunities to connect with over 50 local non-profits representing and serving diverse communities. As part of the Celebration of Unity, we will also recognize the inspiring voices of our youth through the Creative Expression Competition and honor outstanding individuals with the 4th Annual MLK Jr. Award winners. In celebration of the 250th anniversary of the signing of the Declaration of Independence, Chandler will kick off the America 250 celebration at the Chandler Multicultural Festival with the “27 Flags: Our History Through the Stars and Stripes” exhibition. This display, on view for the first time at the festival, will represent the evolution of our nation’s flag, with historical facts curated by the Chandler Museum team to accompany each flag. This event is made possible by the City of Chandler’s Connection & Impact Division—join us as we celebrate culture, unity and community.
