Dia De Muertos Community Event
This family-friendly event is FREE and features mask making, ballet folklórico performances, calaca puppets, a community altar, and a live musical procession featuring a capoeira demonstration. All of these activities are taking place in the lobby at CCA! Attendees are invited to dress in their Day of the Dead best. Following the community festivities, guests are invited to a special ticketed performance by singer-songwriter Edna Vázquez at 7:00 P.M. Tickets are $32. A fearless singer, songwriter, and guitarist, Edna Vázquez is known for her powerful voice and passionate performances that transcend borders. Born in Mexico and based in Portland, Oregon, she blends traditional Mexican music with rock, folk, and pop influences, creating songs that explore themes of love, social justice, and cultural identity. Her music has taken her to stages across the U.S. and beyond, sharing her message of unity and empowerment.
