40 talented kids. 80 images. 1 inspiring exhibit. A free exhibit showcasing the photography of kids ages 10-14 who participated in the Kids in Focus After School Program. Our annual Exhibit Opening, is a free, public event for all ages where you will meet some of the kids we serve as they share their artwork and enjoy live music and refreshments. With approximately 300 people attending each year, it's a true celebration of their accomplishments! 40 kids spent multiple weeks exploring their world through the lens of a camera. With local photographers as their mentors, they gained skills and confidence to help them overcome adversity. All of the students and mentors from the After School Program are invited to attend this very special event where their friends, families, and supporters cheer them on. It's a transformative evening as they share their artwork and sign copies of the 2025 hardcover Photo Books. After the Exhibit Opening, the kids' photographs become part of the traveling Exhibits Program and are displayed prominently at public spaces throughout our community.
