Join Scottsdale Arts and The Consulate General of Mexico in Phoenix on Cinco de Mayo for a beer tasting event that benefits the nonprofit Friendly House.
In 2020, the Consulate General of Mexico partnered with Friendly House to create the IME Becas/Friendly House Scholarship Program, which has benefited 24 students with a $2,000 scholarship to keep studying at an Arizona university or community college of their preference. $70 virtual livestream experience includes traditional dance performance, an explanation of the cultural and gastronomic attractions in Tijuana, and home delivery of a beer and culinary kit for a craft brew tasting and sampling of dishes from the state of Baja California.
Proceeds benefit the IME Becas/Friendly House
