Policy Impact Series - September 2022
Prop 400 was vetoed, what's next for transportation?
On September 9, 2022, attend the Chandler Chamber of Commerce Policy Impact Series meeting to hear about activities happening around Prop 400 following the veto during the 2022 legislative session.
Arizona is one of the fastest-growing states in the country and we must maintain our roadways to keep up with this growth and demand. Maricopa County voters have supported Prop 400 over the past 40 years and this must be passed to provide future funding for infrastructure needs. Prop 400 has funded major infrastructure projects across the valley, including Loops 101, 202 and 303, light rail, arterial street investments, and contributions to multimodal investments.
Hear from industry experts about their efforts to ensure Maricopa County has the funding to improve and optimize our region's transportation infrastructure!

- Jack Sellers, Maricopa County Supervisor, District 1
- Audra Koester Thomas, Transportation Planning Program Manager,Maricopa Association of Governments
