 Special Guest Speaker: Michael Hunter, Director of Legislative Affairs, Office of Governor Janice K. Brewer
Michael Hunter is Governor Janice K. Brewer's Director of Legislative Affairs and Special Advisor on Tax Policy & Reform. Prior to this appointment, he served for four years as the Senior Policy Advisor for Budget and Finance for the Republican Caucus of the Arizona State Senate. He has also held positions as Government Affairs Director for the Arizona Board of Regents and as Vice President of the Arizona Tax Research Association. Mr. Hunter is a recognized expert in public finance and taxation, and has served on numerous committees in state government, including the Arizona Fiscal Accountability Committee and the School Finance Advisory Committee. He received his Bachelor's Degree in political science from the California State University, Long Beach, and his Master of Arts, also in political science, from the University of California, Riverside.
