Tails & Trails with Boyce Thompson Arboretum

Dog parents and outdoor enthusiasts alike are invited to Boyce Thompson Arboretum on Saturday, January 10, 2026, for Tails & Trails, a fun and festive event designed with furry friends in mind. The pooch-centric day will take place from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the arboretum, located at 37615 E. Arboretum Way, Superior, AZ 85173. This event will feature docent-led dog hikes, pet-related vendors, food and beverage trucks, and adoptions with Pinal County Animal Care & Control (PCACC) and Barb’s Dog Rescue. Both two and four-legged visitors can attend the event for free with the pet parent’s paid admission, and additional activities like puppy yoga classes and a dog training workshop are available for purchase. Leashed and well-behaved pets are welcome. Guests are encouraged to bring cash due to limited internet and cell service and to wear appropriate footwear, as many trails are uneven and unpaved.
