Caregiver

Posted: 11/04/2026

Some people choose caregiving. Others are called to it.

If you walk into a client's home and instinctively notice what they need before they ask — if sitting with someone in a hard moment doesn't drain you, it grounds you — this is the role you've been looking for.

ABOUT FIRSTLIGHT HOME CARE OF SOUTHEAST VALLEY

We serve seniors and adults in their own homes across Chandler, Gilbert, Mesa, Tempe, Ahwatukee, Sun Lakes, Queen Creek, and San Tan Valley — providing care that preserves dignity and independence. We're selective about who we bring on. When we find the right caregiver, we invest in them.

THIS ROLE REQUIRES A MINIMUM OF 1 YEAR HANDS-ON CAREGIVING EXPERIENCE. Please do not apply if you do not meet this requirement.

WHAT YOUR DAYS LOOK LIKE

  • Assist clients with bathing, dressing, grooming, and personal hygiene — always with dignity and respect
  • Prepare meals and support dietary needs
  • Provide genuine companionship: conversation, outings, and activities that keep clients engaged and living fully
  • Monitor and document changes in health or behavior; communicate clearly with our care coordinator
  • Light housekeeping to maintain a safe, comfortable home
  • Medication reminders and care plan activities as directed
  • Safe mobility support and transfers, including Hoyer lifts when needed
  • Care for clients with Alzheimer's, dementia, or developmental disabilities — with patience and full team support
