Chandler/Gilbert Arc (CGArc) is a non-profit organization dedicated to providing support for individuals with Intellectual/Developmental Disabilities. At CGArc, we believe that all persons should be provided the opportunity to develop to their fullest potential and are seeking Job Coaches to help us achieve that belief! This position will be based out in the East Valley Area.

Responsibilities of a Job Coach are:
- Develop relationships with businesses in the community that employ individuals that we support.
- Participate in planning meetings for individuals who are referred for individual or group placement.
- With input from the host employer, determine work to be done by the individual/s and develop a strategy to teach the skills needed to complete all work.
- Establishing training schedule, transportation, and other factors required by placement. Develop resources to assist individual’s and provide feedback to Program Coordinator regarding individual/s needs and progress.
- Participate in training, as required by host employer. Maintain case note and complete reports as required by agency and funding sources. Submit to Program Coordinator.
- Using programs to input daily program results for each individual.
- Establish a schedule of follow up support contacts. Meet with client and employer to determine satisfaction and any areas of concern.
- From time to time may be required to provide assistance in other areas of the program as needed.
- May be responsible for transporting individuals to Job Sites as necessary.
- Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Must be 21 years of age or older.
- High school diploma/GED required.
- Must have a clean 39 month MVD report.
- Ability to obtain a Fingerprint Clearance Card and pass an extensive criminal background check.
- Excellent organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills preferred.
- Experience working for individuals with Intellectual/Developmental Disabilities is preferred.

Important Notes
We are looking for a compassionate person that enjoys working with disabled individuals. You must have excellent communication skills both written and verbal. Experience in a residential setting with other types of special needs population may be considered. Training will be provided. Employment offers are contingent upon successful reference verification and completion of required training. All employees must maintain a valid Level One Fingerprint Clearance Card.
