Compliance Specialist/Risk Management
The position will lead all corporate insurance-related matters, be responsible for administrative activities, and assist with corporate strategy. This includes insurance and risk management for global operating sites; insurance renewals, claims, contract reviews, budget/forecast variance analysis, and any project requiring corporate insurance assistance. This role will report to the VP of Compliance

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Proactively serve as a point of contact to global operations, providing appropriate advice for claim reporting, budget, premium allocations, COIs management, and general insurance questions.
- Prepare Insurance Premium Projections for global budgets and forecasts.
- Assist with global broker engagement, and US claims management providers.
- Coordinate and collect needed exposure data from all affiliates for insurance renewals, and budget allocations.
- Demonstrate knowledge of insurance coverages and allocation methods for each line of coverage to distribute and clarify budget and premium allocations to affiliates accurately.
- Analyze "Insurance Requirements” in various agreements and contracts, including Procurement and Services, and confirm compliance.
- Coordinate with the M&A team during acquisitions
- Attend and coordinate property site inspections with insurance representatives and site personnel.
- Demonstrate knowledge and understanding of core insurance coverage forms and principles.
- Initiate projects with brokers/carriers that reduce risk and/or premiums.
