SOLLiD Cabinetry manufactures custom and semi-custom cabinetry at our Chandler, Arizona facility. We are looking for reliable, detail-oriented team members to join our Finishing Department and support the production of high-quality finished cabinet products.

Position Summary

The Finishing Department Team Member supports the cabinet finishing process by preparing, sanding, wiping, inspecting, and quality-checking cabinet parts before they move to the next stage of production.

This is a great opportunity for someone who has an eye for detail, takes pride in their work, and wants to learn the cabinet finishing process. Woodworking or manufacturing experience is preferred, but we are willing to train the right person.

Available Areas in the Finishing Department

Sanding

This is an entry-level position responsible for preparing wood components for the finishing process. The ideal candidate should have strong attention to detail and be willing to learn proper sanding standards, product handling, and quality expectations.

Wiping

This is an entry-level position responsible for supporting the finishing process by wiping, preparing, and handling cabinet parts according to department standards. The ideal candidate should be dependable, detail-oriented, and willing to learn.

Finish QC / QC Trim

This position supports quality control within the Finishing Department. The employee will inspect cabinet parts and trim to help ensure accuracy, quality, and completion before product moves forward.

The ideal candidate should have some quality control experience or a strong eye for detail. Must be able to read a tape measure, review paperwork, and identify quality concerns. Training will be provided.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

· Prepare cabinet parts and components for the finishing process.

· Sand, wipe, inspect, and quality-check parts depending on assigned area.

· Review paperwork to confirm job details, product information, and requirements.

· Read a tape measure accurately when required.

· Inspect product for defects, damage, missing parts, or quality concerns.

· Communicate issues to leads, supervisors, or managers.

· Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.

· Follow all company safety rules and department procedures.

· Handle cabinet parts carefully to prevent damage.

· Work independently, with a partner, or as part of a team.

· Support production flow by completing work accurately and on schedule.

· Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

· Previous woodworking, cabinet, manufacturing, sanding, wiping, or quality control experience preferred.

· Entry-level candidates are welcome.

· Ability to read a tape measure preferred.

· Ability to read and follow paperwork, work orders, labels, and instructions.

· Strong attention to detail.

· Reliable, punctual, and professional.

· Ability to work in a fast-paced production environment.

· Willingness to learn and follow department standards.

· Ability to understand and follow verbal work instructions and safety communication.

Physical Requirements

· Ability to stand and walk for long periods of time.

· Ability to bend, reach, stretch, push, pull, and lift throughout the workday.

· Ability to lift up to 50 pounds as needed.

· Ability to work on a factory floor around dust, noise, machinery, forklifts, and moving production activity.

· Ability to wear required personal protective equipment.

· Ability to safely handle cabinet parts, doors, trim, and other wood components.

Schedule Requirements

· Must be available to work scheduled shifts.

· Overtime may be required based on business needs.

· Weekend work may be required when needed.
