About Us

A New Leaf is a community nonprofit organization, and since 1971 we have been providing a broad spectrum of services to help individuals and families in crisis. In 2019 we served 26,973 residents across the Valley.
Our Mission: Helping Families . . . Changing Lives
Vulnerable individuals and families receive emergency help and life-changing programs for a new start – transforming their lives to become thriving members of the community. Their successes include employment, healthier lifestyles, high school diplomas / GEDs, college degrees, life skills and proud self-sufficiency.
A New Leaf is a recognized leader in crisis and family services with 30+ program sites Valley wide – from foster care to behavioral health and primary care services to financial literacy, sheltering, domestic violence shelters and assistance, housing support and early childhood education.

• Serves 182,000 meals annually
• Provides 76,000 nights of shelter annually
• Hosts 12,000 counseling sessions annually
